Win a trip to Prague!

The winner of the competition "Prague 2002" is Sharon Stevenson from BATH.

A lot has been written about the capital of the Czech Republic, poets have paid tribute to this wonderful city, writers have found inspiration there and film makers have come to set their stories. Through centuries the name Prague has been enriched by various adjectives and comparisons — Golden Prague and the city of a hundred spires could serve as examples.

A visit to Prague can be described as travelling in time. One can admire the Romanesque, gothic and baroque styles as well as discover real gems of the architectural styles of the 20 century. Monuments and sites can evoke a unique atmosphere. A rich history of the city, places of interest, guides and other services can be provided by The Prague Information Service

However, The Czech Tourist Authority would like to introduce the city as a place which is pulsating with life, and offering something for all generations. Let us take you to discover Prague from various angles and perspectives.
