A traffic warden and a driver become the stars of a musical in
the first film with famous Czech comedians Voskovec and Werich.
Transferring to the screen the principle of their 'Liberated Theatre',
which took its inspiration from dadaism, circus, jazz, Chaplin,
Buster Keaton and American vaudeville, Voskovec and Werich present
their view of Prague in the early 30s as a slapstick comedy accompanied
by Jaroslav Jezek's beautiful music.
